I flew the Mach loop with ‘Berty’ Brett on September9th. An unbelievable flight after a very professional training session on the ejector seat. Berty showed exceptional communication and training skills during the flight and made it fun.  The ground support staff were not only very warm and welcoming but highly competent. A truly fantastic experience, flying from Hawarden through the Mach loop and along the Ogwen valley with some aerobatics to finish, can't recommend it highly enough. A very professional and friendly team, my guest and I were very well looked after, a big thank you to you all.

Second time flying with Aerolegends. First was flying in the Spitfire Elizabeth an emotional and truly perfect experience. Second time was in the Strikemaster 8 years later, this month. A once in a lifetime very special experience.  So lucky to do it and just made it as the weather closed in. Both times I took the optional recording. Because of the nostalgia,  I preferred the Spitfire. Great company offering unique experinces, I will cherish, and brag to my friends and family! Pilots are amazing,  Parky and Sean!

A fantastic experience flying in the Strikemaster Jet and doing the Mach Loop in Wales, only let down slightly by the video of the experience purchased separately, which ended up being 2 separate videos from the 2 cameras, 1 of the pilots faces throughout the flight, and 1 looking out the front. When I had previously gone up in a Spitfire with Aero Legends, the videos were combined, so you had the main picture looking out the front of the plane, and a smaller video inset that showed the pilots faces, which was great. The 2 separate videos was poor, as no-one wants to watch the pilots faces for 30 minutes, and if you watch the front facing camera, you can't hear what the pilot is saying at all or see any reactions. For the extra £150, the video was really disappointing. That being said, the overall experience was amazing, and the whole team couldn't have been more friendly or professional. From the guys doing the safety briefing and kitting you out, to the ground crew who took you to the plane and also took photos on my phone, and finally to the pilots themselves (I went up with Berty) who was brilliant and made sure to let me know everything that was going on and give me a chance to take the controls. It is a full on experience, but one that won't be forgotten any time soon!
